  • Simply put, slot machines with bonuses are the best Lee Brice Clearwater Casino way for eager slots players to increase their chances of winning exciting prizes, bet multipliers, and unlockable features of the slot game, which players might not readily know about.

The Clearwater Casino Resort, officially called the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort, is a casino resort complex in Suquamish on Puget Sound in Washington State. It is across the sound from the city of Seattle, one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country at over 3.7 million people, so there’s plenty of folks in the vicinity who don’t have to travel too far at all to get here.

The Clearwater River Casino is located in Lewiston, Idaho, in the Nez Perce Reservation. It has around 600 electronic games opened 24/7. Million dollars jackpot are featured on progressive slots. Situated next to the casino, the Clearwater River Lodge features an indoor pool, a spa and 50 rooms. All of them are non-smoking. To satisfy customers.

There are a lot of casinos and poker rooms in the state of Washington though, and Washington is a lot like California where gambling law is concerned, allowing poker rooms but not allowing other casino gaming except on Indian lands.

It’s probably true that they’d prefer not to have these other casino games in their state at all, but the Indians do have certain rights to offer gambling on their lands, and the state has gotten together with the tribes to come up with agreements and casino gambling on Indian land is pretty big here.

The casino and card room industry, like in California, is pretty powerful, and while the California tribes have held up online poker regulation in the state for several years now, with no end in sight, in Washington the gambling lobby has managed to get passed the only law in the United States specifically prohibiting online gambling.

So online gambling sites steer well clear of Washington State, and gamblers here have to go out to the brick and mortar casinos and poker rooms to get their fix. One of these places is the Clearwater Casino Resort, only a 30 minute ferry ride from Seattle, and of course the trip over on the ferry can be an enjoyable and scenic one as well.

The Suquamish Indian tribe, which operates this casino resort, originally purchased the land for it back in 1988, to open up a smoke shop. This was before the days when Indian casinos were around, and there were no plans to open one at the time.

They did end up opening a bingo hall on the site as well in 1992, and the seeds for the gambling center that was to follow were now planted. In 1995, the first casino on the property was built, housed in a tent initially, for 8 years, until a permanent casino building was erected in 2003.

In 2006, they added an 85 room hotel to the complex, and although most of their traffic is walk up, this allowed guests to actually stay with them instead of just commuting across Puget Sound, and stay longer as well.

In 2015, a new 7 story hotel tower was built, adding another 98 hotel rooms, as well as a new convention and meeting center. There are more plans for further expansion in the coming years, and they just added a 300 seat sports bar and lounge, with more expansion planned for the future.

Clearwater Casino Resort Features

For a hotel of a fairly modest size of less than 200 rooms, Clearwater certainly does have a lot of variety as far as the range of accommodations they offer. They have a good selection for everyone here, from guests on a budget to those who can afford to spend a lot.

They start you out with value rooms, with a choice of king or queen, and these rooms might be value priced but they do come with a lot of niceties. You get a coffee machine with coffee, creamer, and sugar, a microwave, a fridge, a safe, a hair dryer, an ironing board and iron, free wireless internet, and more.

They also have premium king and queen rooms, which offer better furnishings and more space. Then there’s their lineup of suites, and there’s lots to choose from, starting with their value suites. They have several selections as far as their premium suites go, and the better ones offer some pretty nice digs indeed, with some very nice views of Puget Sound.

Both smoking and non smoking rooms are available, and some hotels these days don’t even offer smoking rooms, but if you do smoke, you certainly don’t want to have to go outside to do it.

Clearwater is considered a resort as well as a hotel and casino, and the resort part comes from their Angeline Spa, with 7 treatment rooms and state of the art equipment, open 7 days a week.

There are 6 restaurants to choose from here, featuring The Clearwater, offering fine dining with fresh ingredients, locally sourced when possible. The Beach Glass Café offers more casual dining with a glass wall and glass column made from recycled glass collected at local beaches.

The Agate Pass Deli offers quick burgers, sandwiches, and salads, and the award winning Longhouse Buffet tempts you with over 100 different buffet selections, all you can eat.

The Beach Rock Lounge also serves food, in addition to sporting events, comedy shows, and musical entertainment every evening. Clearwater also owns a nearby 18 hole golf course which can also be enjoyed by guests. The casino also offers live entertainment events.

The Clearwater Casino

There are over 1200 slot machines here, with 122 different games available at Clearwater Casino. So slot players will find plenty of variety to choose from and slot players are known to really love variety and you will find lots of that here.

The table games area is open daily from 11 AM, 7 days a week, and runs until 3 AM nightly, and is open an extra hour on Friday and Saturday nights. The stakes here start out at a very modest $1 for Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette. Clearwater Casino also lays out Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Poker, and Let It Ride, giving their patrons access to some very popular casino games in addition to all the slots they can handle in the slots area.

There’s also a Keno lounge, and the Clearwater boasts that they have one of the best run and highest paying Keno games around. Keno runners will also take your bets from other areas of the casino.

Clearwater Casino also has an eight table poker room, offering the best poker in the West Sound, 7 days a week. They offer both Texas Holdem and Omaha, mostly spread games, and the standard game for Holdem is $2/$10 Spread with $1/$2 blinds, but they also have spread games as high as $3-$100 for those who enjoy higher stakes.

Omaha is offered at both $4/$8 and $10/$20 limit. There are also regular tournaments that are run here, and while this might be a modestly sized poker room, there’s plenty of action at it.

Their players club offers 4 different levels, with both cash back and comp benefits to be earned based upon your play at the casino, in addition to further VIP benefits at the highest level, Diamond.

Overall, this is a friendly and well run casino that really appeals to those in the Puget Sound area, although it’s good enough to merit a trip to it as well if you’re looking to visit the Pacific Northwest and want to get some casino gambling in.
